Seeing something wrong and remaining silent is a sign of weak imaan (faith) of the believer. And the weak imaan can ultimately leads you to become a victim of a similar situation that you witnessed and didn’t stand against.
And unfortunately this is our condition today. Isn’t it? We see injustice prevailing around us, sometimes in our own homes, neighborhoods, relatives or even on social media. The human nature tends to take interest in stories, and so we do take interest in the lives of people around us but we decide not to take part in any such story even when the injustice is prominent there. Why? Maybe either we find ourselves weak or we think that we do not belong to that situation so it’s better to zip our lips even if it’s in our house or something with our neighbors. Here I want to let you know that the situation you had decided to remain out of that because you were not a part of that situation sooner or later can knock your door too! ..
Sometimes we knowingly and willingly decide to remain silent and this makes us to become a part of that injustice. But it’s possible that one was really not in the right position to help or maybe they just overlooked it. In the later case there is a good news for you..
Prophet Muhammad sallalallhu alyhe wassallam said whoever will recites the last two verses of Al-Baqarah every night it would be sufficient for them. And I wonder if you know the power and beauty of those two ayaat? That includes:
رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred
So reciting these two verses attentively can surely protect you from falling in to the same trap.
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
But do remember reciting these two verses daily doesn’t mean to remain silent on the situation of your fellow Muslims when they are wronged by the hands of unjust people and even on social media.
Please support you fellow Muslims by all means. They’re your brothers and sisters in Islam.
Allaah said
وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ
And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.
How beautiful is Islam?
To be close to Islam (and its’ knowledge) is peace of mind and life and going away from it is destruction for the life. AlhamduliLLAH .. Allah has chosen us Muslim ❤️
May we live and die as Muslim ameen ..
May Allah forgive us and grant us jannah al firdoes ameen ..
